I qualified for this one through my two PKBGT wins, and I'd played Waynesboro last August and shot 85-88. So the goal was simple: come back and show I'm a different player.

I shot 80 and 78. Better, but not what I wanted. My driver was the problem all weekend — five fairways a round when I'm normally hitting ten or more, and the misses went both ways, which usually means I'm steering it instead of committing.

The best part was holes 16 and 17 on Saturday. I was frustrated, stopped guiding it, just hit it — and made back-to-back birdies. That told me the swing is fine and the fix is in my head, not my mechanics.

T5 in the 14–15 division. Seven shots better per round than last year on the same course. Still figuring it out.
